French Tech: a big job creator

While French Tech companies have confirmed their good resilience in 2020 by raising nearly 5.4 billion euros, they have also been a strong lever for employment in the digital sector, with between 20,000 and 30,000 job creations. Furthermore, the 120 most successful startups that make up the French Tech Next40 /120 index also plan to create on their own around 10,000 jobs during this year.

That shows once again the dynamism of FrenchTech!

French entrepreneurs in California are also not left behind.

France is ranked 2nd for job creation by foreign companies in California in 2020. More than 97,300 people work for a French company in California.

The same goes for foreign direct investment: over the past 10 years, France has contributed 8% of FDI projects in California.

Finally, in terms of commerce and trade, France exported more than $ 4.8 billion to California. Meanwhile, California exported $ 2.9 billion to France.
